DropStitch is a knitting app that reads your patterns and counts your rows. We keep what we collect to a minimum, and we never sell your data or show you ads.
What stays on your phone
Your projects, patterns (PDFs and photos), notes, row counts, timers and yarn stash are stored on your device. They are not sent to us. If you delete the app, they are deleted with it.
Your account
Signing in is optional. If you create an account, we keep:
- Your email address, to sign you in and to send account emails such as confirming your address or resetting your password.
- Your password, stored only as a secure one-way hash by our sign-in provider. We can never see it.
- If you continue with Google: your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account, which Google shares with us when you agree to it. We don't get your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account.
Who helps us run DropStitch
- Supabase runs our sign-in service and stores account details.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
They only process data to provide their service to us.
Your choices
You can use DropStitch without an account. You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your account and everything linked to it: write to hello@dropstitch.io and we'll do it within 30 days. A delete-account button in the app is on its way.
Children
DropStitch isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is important.
